hey, Om this side!
Welcome to my first-ever blog, where I will share with you how I obtained my "Responsive web design" certification by freeCodeCamp in about 3 weeks,
let's get started!
Before starting this certification I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS and I was looking for something to level up my skills, then I came across this certification while scrolling through Twitter, and I thought let's give it a try! best thing about this course is it's completely project based, It contains 20 projects including 5 major projects which are mandatory to get certified and other 15 are guided projects which will help you learn and build at the same time, how cool is that! right? here are the list of projects I build during this course :
Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App
Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu
Learn About CSS Colors by Creating a Marker Set
Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form
Certification Project: Build a Survey Form
Learn the CSS Box Model by Building a Rothko Painting
Learn CSS Flexbox by Building a Photo Gallery
Learn Typography by Building a Nutrition Label
Learn Accessibility by Building a Quiz
Certification Project: Build a Tribute Page
Learn More About CSS Pseudo Selectors by Building a Balance Sheet
Learn Intermediate CSS by Building a Picasso Painting
Learn Responsive Web Design by Building a Piano
Certification Project: Build a Technical Documentation Page
Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline
Learn CSS Grid by Building a Magazine
Certification Project: Build a Product Landing Page
Learn CSS Transforms by Building a Penguin
Learn CSS Animations by Building a Ferris Wheel
Certification Project: Build a Personal Portfolio Webpage
To be honest, I skipped through some of the tasks as already studied about them (eg, flexbox, box model.) but there are most of the concepts new for me for eg. there is one project named "Learn About CSS Colors by Creating a Marker Set"
which was completely based on CSS colors property in such detailed manner I have never seen before. this course starts from basic HTML and will end up teaching you an advanced concept of CSS like CSS grid, Animations etc.
So overall it's one of the best ways to learn the basics of web development, no tutorial hell anymore! highly recommended to beginners, Who started front-end web development recently or are willing to start, this is something you can start with. I don't know this certification will help you to land a job, but the learning sure will !!
that's a wrap! thanks for reading this blog! sorry if there were any mistake I didn't use any AI tool as wanted it to be a raw and honest review. you can connect with me on Twitter @OmDeshkar3 .
